Thin on purpose,
actives on the spot.

Most blemish patches are measured in tenths of a millimetre. This one is measured in hundredths. Here’s what that changes, and what’s on the film.

A 0.013mm Film

Roughly the thickness of cling film. Flat edges lie down instead of catching on brushes, so foundation goes over the patch instead of around it.

Cover, Not Absorb

A hydrocolloid dot pulls fluid out of an open spot. A film keeps actives in contact with an early spot and keeps your fingers off it all day.

Four Actives

Sulfur, zinc PCA, salicylic acid and a gentle AHA + PHA pair, on every one of the 72 patches. Made in South Korea by Dr.Melaxin.

Why the details matter

Sulfur and zinc PCA are the oil-control pair. Sulfur has been used on oily, blemish-prone skin for generations, and zinc PCA is zinc bound to a skin-friendly acid. Together they help keep the excess oil that collects around a spot in check while the patch is on.

Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, which is why it’s the exfoliant of choice for pores: it can get into the oily environment of a blemish rather than sitting on top. Lactobionic acid (a PHA) and citric acid (an AHA) do the gentler surface work, loosening dead skin so the spot looks smoother and less rough under makeup.

The film itself is an acrylates copolymer, the same family of flexible, skin-safe polymers used in medical dressings. At 0.013mm it does two jobs: it holds the actives against the spot, and it gives you a matte surface that takes foundation, concealer and powder. Supporting extracts, including centella, tea tree, houttuynia, witch hazel, willow bark and propolis, round out the formula.

What it isn’t. This patch is a cosmetic, not a medicine, and it’s built for early-stage, emerging spots rather than open whiteheads or deep cystic acne. A hydrocolloid dot may suit a fully formed whitehead better. If your breakouts are painful, persistent or spreading, talk to a dermatologist. What we can promise is what’s on the patch, and that you can wear it in daylight.
